Description
M_DOOM graphic being used on Option menu.
I wasn't sure whether to put this as a bug or feature request as it isn't either really. It's more a little presentation issue.
In Ddday, the M_DOOM graphic is used on both the main menu and options menu.
In the original Doom, the M_DOOM graphic was only displayed on the main menu and many old TC's would alter the graphic around this, to frame the menu as an example (i.e. like Hell Revealed2). Now this is already something that is "broken" in Doomsday (and pretty much every port because they do the same thing) because Dday adds the multiplayer option to the main menu.
But it looks even more out of place having these altered M_DOOM graphics being used on the options menu where it doesn't line up with anything IMO. At least on Dday's main menu an altered M_DOOM graphic still lines up with everything except for Quit game being off the bottom.
My suggestion is to not use the M_DOOM graphic anywhere other than the main menu. Why is the graphic actually used on the options menu anyway when it isn't used anywhere else?

Fixed both issues in svn for 1.9.0-beta6.
To resolve the issue of the main menu items not aligning up, when PWADs create the M_DOOM patch to look like a background and given that there is an extra "Multiplayer" item; "New Game" now leads to a new menu which prompts the user to select game type i.e., "Singleplayer" or "Multiplayer" which then leads to the class/skill/episode/multiplayer menu as appropriate.
