Description
i get an error while trying to start doomsday engine, tells me i'm missing the file gdilplus.dll.

gdiplus.dll should be part of your Windows installation. Try downloading it from somewhere, e.g., http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?gdiplus
