Description

Ability to control the "simple shadow" effect that Dday places under all things when they aren't in a full bright state. For instance, the ability to disable it for specific things or set it to only appear under a certain light range (i.e like you can do with dynamic lights on a state by state basis).

As it stands, it's a fine effect in a lit are, but, as an example, it's a little strange when looking at a thing located in a dark area, with no visible light source, to see an extra dark blob underneath it.

Of course, what classifies a "lit" or "dark" area...

There already exist a flag to disable the shadow for a particular mobj state and the size can be adjusted also.

I disagree that this is something that mod makers should really be messing with as with a little tweaking, Doomsday should be able to automatically adjust the shadow strength according to the lighting conditions at the mobj's location.

It would seem I was mistaken. The Shadow Radius property is within the Model definition and there is no other way to disable the shadow (unless you make the object fully bright or not drawn at all).
