Sound causes Deng to freeze on linux

Description
revision 5954.
Music does not play at all.
If music is disabled and sound is not, it does not freeze.
If sound is disabled and music is not, it does not freeze.
When music and sound are enabled deng crashes when trying to quit after a level is started both when pressing "Esc" and opening the console and typing "quit".

Kurikai informs me this issue has subsequently been fixed.
