Mac OS X (PPC or Intel) 10.4.8 mouse look doesn't work

Description
When starting up Doom 2 with jDoom there seems to be a problem with
mouse look. When I go to options and chose mouse controls and try to
choose yes for mouse look, the applicatioj crashes/quits with no error
message and snowberry (1.1) also quits.
Also, after a couple of selections/changes in the options, the keyboard no
longer responds to input.

The crashing bug has been fixed in SVN (see the last two
messages of this thread:
http://forums.newdoom.com/showthread.php?t=30989)
