Bug #2063
GLFramebuffer > GLTarget: Segmentation Violation [Intel]

Description
When I try to load 1.15RC1 on my Sony Vaio it acts like it's starting up then nothing.
If I down grade back to build 1542 everything works fine. Any build after 1542 stopped working. There are no more GL Drivers available for the Sony Vaio. This problem started with build 1549.

[LoadError] (Library::Library) Cannot load library C:\Program Files (x86)\Doomsday\Bin\plugins\wadmapconverter.dll: The specified module could not be found.
Your game will not be playable in any case if there is some problem with wadmapconverter, since it is responsible for preparing the map data.
Could you run with the "-vvv" option to get more verbose log output? Perhaps there are some additional details there. Please attach the log as a file rather than copying into the comment box, since it will be large.

I've looked for the wadmapconverter.dll file everywhere and it is not found. I even looked on a good working Doomsday and the file does not exist. Here the Doomsday.out file that you requested using -vvv.

Never mind, I forgot danij renamed it to "idtech1converter" (that is being successfully loaded). However, to be certain that the old installation isn't messing things up, you should try installing Doomsday to a new folder.
Here the Doomsday.out file that you requested using -vvv.
Thanks. I'll have to see if I can figure out what exactly happened there before the segfault.

I noticed that Intel came out with a new OpenGL driver for the Sony Vaio. Mine was 8.15.10.2618. The new version is 10.18.10.4226. Dated 5/25/2015. Now the game works likes it suppose to.

Would it be possible when you change the OpenGL requirements in the future to also leave the version such as 10.1810.4226 intact for a fall back. As you know with Intel it will be a very long time before they do another update to OpenGL. This way the game will still be usable on curtain systems.

Our plan is to require OpenGL 3.3 in the future, and your driver should work with that.
However, unfortunately we can't guarantee that things will continue to work with that particular driver because we don't have any computers with that exact hardware/software combination in the dev team.
