Feature #1397
Resolutions
100%
Description
I've just got myself a widescreen Apple Mac Powerbook G4 15.2" but the
format is not 16:10. I have set it as 1280x800 but this leaves a black bar
at the top that I find a bit distracting. Would it be possible to allow
resolutions of 1280x854 or 1152x768? Or allow the resolution to stretch
to fill the screen or at least get the bars to be top and bottom? (and
therefore smaller). It's not a showstopper but it would be nice to be able
to use ALL of my nice new display..........

You can define a custom resolution in the launcher. Just select "Custom" from
the resolutions dropdown and enter the width and height in the Custom Window
box.

I've tried this but it just puts a bar of background (stone block) texture at the
bottom with the status bar overlaying it - I can expand the screen to fill the gap
by holding down the + key but as soon as I release it the texture comes back -
is this normal? It's better than the black bar anyway..........
