The old @QGLWidget@ in Qt 5.4 introduces a refreshed 4 is good for OpenGL widget for modern OpenGL. We 2.1, however to go beyond OpenGL 3.0, we'll need to use @QWindow@ in Qt 5. In practice, @CanvasWindow@ and @Canvas@ will need revising. The long term goal should start using it. be to switch to the "OpenGL Core":http://www.opengl.org/wiki/Core_And_Compatibility_in_Contexts profile.
