Redmine Doomsday Engine - Feature #2286 (New): Editing all global Doomsday key bindingshttps://tracker.dengine.net/issues/22862018-10-12T19:45:39Zskyjake

Currently there is a popup for setting the console shortcut key, but Doomsday has other global key bindings that should be exposed and editable via the GUI.

In practice, though, global bindings need to saved to a separate .cfg file so they can be configured without a game being loaded / aren't game-specific.
Doomsday Engine - Feature #2184 (New): Keyboard navigation: bindable controlshttps://tracker.dengine.net/issues/21842016-11-20T14:46:12Zskyjake

The controls for UI navigation should be bindable in the "deui" context, so that controllers other than the keyboard can be used.
Doomsday Engine - Feature #1758 (New): Separate left/right modifier keys (Shift, Alt, etc.)https://tracker.dengine.net/issues/17582014-04-18T07:53:17Zskyjake

If the left and right modifier keys would be detected separately, this could allow more fine-grained key bindings. Useful for instance with split-screen multiplayer using a single keyboard.
Doomsday Engine - Feature #1512 (New): List all impulses in context help for ccmd impulsehttps://tracker.dengine.net/issues/15122010-03-31T13:21:46Zdanijdanij@dengine.net

When using the context help for the ccmd impulse it would be helpful if all
recognised impulse name strings were listed (similar to ccmd give).

Labels: User Interface
Doomsday Engine - Feature #1449 (Progressed): Setup bindings/controls via taskbar UIhttps://tracker.dengine.net/issues/14492007-06-07T09:48:51Zharryboamharryboam@users.sourceforge.net

I think it would greatly ease the use of Doomsday for first time users if all the options were done from the control panel, such as the controls, HUD options etc as you can use a mouse to select things, so would get the job done fairly quickly. Or it would be nice to have an extra tab in snowberry to set the controls.

Labels: Customizability
Doomsday Engine - Feature #1407 (Progressed): Customizable console keyshttps://tracker.dengine.net/issues/14072006-07-31T21:49:33Zdeus-exdeus-ex@users.sourceforge.net

Recently the behaviour for some of the console keys
where changed (eg. page-up/down). Since not everybody
(including myself) feels comfortable with these
changes we would be better off if the Console controls
could be made bindable too.
